The tower is positioned and stepped to maximize residents’ views of the New York City skyline and harbor while completing the WTC Master Plan’s downward spiraling sequence from One World Trade Center.

Extensive design work has been conducted by members of LINEAR NONLINEAR during the early concept design stages of the project, as part of the Request for Permit (RFP) submission stage.

Scope of work by members of LINEAR NONLINEAR as part of the KPF design team included:
- Massing design.
- Production of digital as well as 3D Printed models.
- Planning of ground floor, typical residential floor and typical podium floors.
- Production of architectural drawings to support various design iterations.
- Design of fenestration and materiality for the podium as well as other parts of the tower through parametric design applications such as Grasshopper and Rhinoceros.
